Since its inception The Dr. Edward B. Entrepreneurial Fund, Inc.’s programming has expanded from recognition of people, organizations, and programs that safeguard the oral health of underserved communities and populations and positively influence the dental community, to opportunities for dental students to demonstrate their entrepreneurial projects, as well as meet with key educators and professionals from the dental and medical industries about issues that impact entrepreneurship in health care.
Dr. Edward B. Shils was known for his relentless pursuit of innovation and change in the dental industry, and he would have loved this approach. Today, we honor his vision to inspire, connect, build and drive innovative and entrepreneurial systems for social good and we honor his legacy by helping build bridges to success for the next generation of health care leaders.
